UMRAH DUA GUIDE

Umrah and Tawaf Duas

Established remembrance for Ihram, Tawaf, Safa and Marwah without assigning an unverified fixed dua to every circuit.

Talbiyah after entering Ihram

Transliteration: Labbayka Allahumma labbayk. Labbayka la sharika laka labbayk. Innal-hamda wan-ni‘mata laka wal-mulk, la sharika lak.

Meaning: Here I am, O Allah, here I am. You have no partner. All praise, favour and sovereignty belong to You; You have no partner.

Between the Yemeni Corner and Black Stone

Transliteration: Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil-akhirati hasanatan wa qina ‘adhaban-nar.

Meaning: Our Lord, grant us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire. Quran 2:201.

No compulsory dua for each round

There is no established requirement to recite a different fixed dua for every circuit of Tawaf. Recite Quran, make dhikr and ask Allah in any language with humility while remaining attentive to crowd safety.

At Safa and Marwah

Face the Qibla where appropriate, praise Allah, proclaim His greatness and make dua following the prophetic guidance. Learn the complete rite from a qualified teacher before travel.
